Magical Enchantment

Magical Enchantment

A Poem by Tina Kline

Butterfly wings unfurled wide
Dancing in the starry night
Her milky white beauty in disguise
She hovers there in the moonlight

She calls to her many magic spells
Hear her charming voice as she sings
Thinking who can resist her charms
She flutters her lovely butterfly wings

Seeing her who could be afraid
As she sings for their enjoyment
She smiles, lost in her spindrift thoughts
As the night weaves its own enchantment

Overhead the stars spin, never to cease
She flutters off into the night's shadows
Entering her own magical fairy domain
In the east the sun starts its daytime glow
