Spring With Rain

Spring With Rain

A Poem by Tina Kline

Rain

Rain splattering against my window
as I gaze out into the forest beyond
rivulets racing down my driveway
I wonder where the sun has gone

Pink buds droop, dripping rain
nearby I hear several robins in song
the sky is dark with low hanging clouds
 April is where spring belongs

The imagery of the pink buds on the trees drooping is beautiful. I love the rain and thunderstorms. You have created some wonderful imagery in this piece.

They say april shower's bring may flowers... that rain nurture's the coming blooms while the sun encourages them with warmth.

A pleasant look at Spring, I think. April showers fill up the lakes and water the earth so we can cruise through hot july and august.

I love soft gentle spring rain and hearing the robins sing. This is awesome. How spring in the Pacific Northwest often is.
