A Single Drop Of Blood

A Single Drop Of Blood

A Poem by Tina Kline

A single drop of blood

It wasn’t enough

He had to prove his love.

His ecstasy wasn’t complete

He bit again

He bit her deep

She swooned in his arms

He watched her die

He felt no alarm

He had to have a flood

Of her crimson blood

To prove his vampire love

She became his undead bride

She would live forever

And over this she never cried

I wouldn't mind being Immortal. Great vampire poem.

I guess in the end who really would be upset if they gained immortality? At least not at the beginning of their very long life.
