HuntressA Poem by Tina KlineAbout a vampire.
I wander
The ancient city streets of Barquisimeto Somewhere - In the mists of time Between Venezuela and Caracas My body hurts My soul weeps I am lost Alone Abandoned It is blood that I crave For survival But it is really Unconditional love That I need Here bronze green and red quetzal Scream in leafy branches I pass below in twilight Not sure if I am real For it is unremitting pain That I really feel With my blonde hair and blue eyes It is easy to find a South American victim His black hair and brown eyes His arousal he cannot disguise Into a cool and breezy hotel room Where he accepts my love My skills at giving him ecstasy Grant me the right to his blood My life is his doom His pain is done But my pain Goes on and on Trapped for eternity Now in Barquisimeto Yet in the world I do not belong
