Vampire SistersA Chapter by Tina Klinen ANN THE VAMPIRE story.Ann was overjoyed with having her older sister with her. It was something she could never have dreamed of. Tina with her here in Alaska. They were all gathered in the living room listening as Tina told the story of what happened after Ann had been murdered and how Tyler went missing and no amount of searching for the 5 year old found him. Finally the authorities gave up. The family gave up and just suffered the double wound of Ann's death and Tyler's mysterious disappearance. Tina looked sad as she related these stories. “So they looked a long time for me Aunt Tina?”Tyler asked. 'Yes Tyler. Everyone in the family loves you. On the anniversary of your disappearance they searched again. After several years that ended. It was concluded you weren't going to be found. “ Then she smiled, “I found you.” Tyler grinned back, “Yes Aunt Tina, you did.” “And you found me.” Ann said. At that moment Julie and Sara entered the house. They looked at Tina, already knowing a strange vampire was in the house just as the rest of them knew the two vampires were coming. Ann stood to perform introductions, “Sara, Julie, this is my sister Tina. Tina, this is Julie and this is Sara, both members of my vampire clan.” “It's an honor to meet Ann's sister.” Julie said. “Yes.” agreed Sara. “I'm proud to meet her friends and members of her clan.” Tina said. After that they felt they could give each other a quick hug, which they did. Then they went back and sat down. Ann filled Julie and Sara in on what had occurred. “Now we want to hear your personal story Tina. How did you become a vampire and end up living in Seattle.” Ann said. Tina smiled at Ann. Tina was much thinner and had straight long light brown hair with a reddish tint to it. She was dressed in jeans, boots and a long duster which she hadn't removed. “Well Ann, everyone, I was in great emotional pain after your murder trial that put your almost ex-husband in jail in Pentledon for 30 years before the possibility of parole. It was early afternoon and I was at the search headquarters for Tyler. It was out in a field somewhere. Anyway a nice looking man came up to me and start talking. I ignored him as much as I could but he was very friendly and pushy without being pushy. After a while I joined him in conversation and the next thing I knew it was getting dark and the search was coming to an end. I told the man I had to go. He wanted to know my name so I told him and he told me his name, Byron. He said see you later and I thought nothing of it. He must have followed me home to my apartment. For after I got home and rested, had a meal and settled in to read for a while if I could he was there in my apartment. He asked me what I thought of vampires. I was scared and wanted to know how he got in. He said he was a vampire and showed me his fangs and strange red yes. He asked me again if I like vampires. I said yes and he fell upon me and turned me. The traditional way. He drank my blood to the point of my death than fed me his. In a couple days I was a full blown vampire” “But Byron was out in the day?” said a confused Tyler. Tina smiled at him. “Yes he was. He's a Daywalker.” “So that makes you a Daywalker, right Tina?” Ann asked. “I am but I knew you weren't so that's why I approached after dark.” “Cool! We have a Daywalker in our clan.” said Justin. “I never heard my aunt say she was joining our clan.” Tyler said. Everyone looked at Tina. She just looked back at them with a expressionless look on her very white face. “So, how did you end up in Seattle again?” Ann asked. “I told everyone I got a job up there and was going to attend Seattle University for a Masters.” “And did you?” asked Ann. “I did both things, yes.” “What about Byron?” Tyler asked. “I never saw him again after he trained me to be a vampire. He moved on and so did I.” Tina said. “But I have made vampire friends in Seattle. A couple werewolves as well. I have a nice life there.” “I invite you to move up here to Alaska. Join my clan. If your friends want to come they are invited as well.” Ann said. “Thank you Ann.” said Tina. “Right now I have been going down to Portland a lot to see the family, while they live. I know you can't do that but I have been.” “How is everyone?” Ann asked, on the verge of blood tears. “Everyone is fine Ann, you don't need to feel sad or guilty. You didn't ask for what happened to you.” “But will you join my Alaskan Vampire Clan?” Ann asked. “I will stay here for a while if you'll all have me and think on it. See how things are up here in Alaska compared to Seattle.” Ann smiled, “Okay. That's fair.” Everyone agreed and were happy Tina was going to stay for a while. “How about we go on our first hunt together. We have to fly to locations to feed. Can you fly Tina?” asked Am. “Yes I can my sister vampire so lets have that hunt.” Tina grinned. © 2015 Tina KlineAuthor's Note
