In The Event Of Rain

In The Event Of Rain

A Poem by Tina Kline

Rain
Endless droplets
Sparkling silver and grey
In the weak winter sunshine
Falling
Falling
Splattering
Unfurling, unfolding
Across the concrete and cement landscape
Running rivulets down the street
Collecting
Gathering
In the street corners
Where autumn leaves have clustered
Carried there by the winds
Clogging the drains
And creating
Great silver and grey pools of water
Reflecting all that exists around them

Much appreciated.
I like this. Great descriptions and the words seems to slide down the page like rain sliding down a glass window. Impressive write.
