Nature's Peace

Nature's Peace

A Poem by Tina Kline

Swallows darting to and fro
Going where the wind seems to blow
Meadow grasses dip and sway
Soon arrives the hottest part of the day

Cows graze and swish their tails
Distant dogs bark without fail
Birds twitter from their concealed places
Winging across the sky leaving no traces

The hot summer sky intensely blue
Across the meadow a hawk's shadow flew
A sort of quiet that is too profound
Yes, still here peace will always be found

Very descriptive. Paints a nice picture of nature. It has a certain 'neutrality' about it. It doesn't praise nature - it describes it.
