Taking A ChanceA Poem by Tina KlineWe only really live when we take chances.I watched him wandering around Stonehenge and wondered who he was.
A mystery just like the circle of stones standing on the bluff overlooking the Columbia River
Dare I go talk to him? Would he respond or turn away wishing to be left alone?
I watched him and wanted him in a deep painful way
So I threw caution to the wind and hoped the magic of Stonehenge would help me
I approached him deep inside the circle and said, “Hi.”
He looked at me out of his deep brown eyes then he smiled and I knew I had done the right thing and he would be mine for ever and ever amen © 2014 Tina KlineReviews
