Butterfly wings
sparkle
in the sunlight

Butterfly wings
glitter
with rain drops

Moth wings
shimmer
in the moonlight


moths
are butterflies
in reverse

or

are butterflies
moths
in reverse

Butterflies
belong to the sun

Moths
belong to the moon

Flutterbies rule, bold and bright, without an enemy. The nocturnal,ones cower in darkness, seeking the light. They are but a morsel for the creatures of the night. I love the imagery as well.

Fun poems. Sometimes the simple is more complex than the complex poem. I enjoyed these. I think children would enjoy these playful butterfly/moth poems. Impressive job!
