Autumn Is The Season

Autumn Is The Season

A Poem by Tina Kline

There's a fire in the valley
once again
draped with curtains of mist
stilled by absent winds

There's a frosty chill on the air
the geese fly away
droplets of rain fall with the leaves
autumn moves in to play

The fire burns cold and intense
leaves fall like embers
until the trees are naked and bare
and rolls in like a tide winter

An outstanding vision you have created with your words of autumn. It is a beautiful time of year and its colors do echo of shades of flame. Lovely beautiful poem.
