A Better Place

A Better Place

A Poem by Tina Kline

"
soft green leaves
leftover from spring
warm breezes
gentle sighs
something's on the radar
time to fabricate
memories drifting
taken up by solar breezes
journeys to forge
summer wears on
heat rises
absorbing moisture
desert like dreams
a wet aphrodisiac
doesn't mean much
nothing delectable
but soft green leaves
rustling in the spring
robins warble
sunshine
a better place, yes
to be spending time

A place anyone would love to spend time. Lush, green and peaceful, over all grandly beautiful!

Very good use of words. This reads like a stream of consciousness. The free flow of thoughts. I like the little connects that link one thought stream to another.

A very unique poem, rather dreamy but very enjoyable.
