Love doesn't hurt

Love doesn't hurt

A Poem by TinBer

Love doesn't hurt anymore
It was the only way I could recognize it
But there are no knives in my back
no thorns in my side

What is this emotion?
You call it love but
I don't feel like killing myself
This is new to me

I don't have too constantly fight
for your attention, your affection
So this couldn't be love,
could it?

So I am yours,
and you are mine
Is it really that easy?
Has it always been this easy?

Love doesn't hurt anymore,
and I think I can get used to it

I really liked the innocence to this poem it was really well structured so easy to read and I especially liked the way you questioned the easygoingness of love emulated especially in this line so this couldn't be love could it? the only criticism is that I wish it was longer very well done I will view more of your work

Your light shades my darkness
