Stop acting like you need me,

I'm not the only one

Someday you will see it

And our love will all be gone

Many weeks of waiting

oh, it felt like years!

I thought that I was hating

'cause my cheeks were full of tears

How could someone mention love,

when it came to me and you?

I never wanted to be yours,

well at least I thought I knew

A drunken phone call that one night

when my first choice wasn't there

It was still wrong, didn't feel right

but I really didn't care

I dare anyone to find

a couple less suiting than us

But you tell me to never mind

'cause you can feel my love buzz

Keep acting like you need me

I am the only one

And I hope you'll never see it

That you and I are wrong
