Ignorance has always been bliss for her

Ignorance has always been bliss for her

A Poem by TinBer

She thinks the world is hers
to do whatever she wants with
And who can blame her?
Ignorance has always been bliss for her

She walks the streets with that look on her face
The look that makes you want to punch her
She thinks she knows she's better than you
Ignorance has always been bliss for her

She claims she does not need to know
about the world, about the pain
She says she's felt it herself
Ignorance has always been bliss for her

As if she knows you, she gives advice
You just play along, half listening
Wholeheartedly hating her very presence
Ignorance has always been bliss for her

You tell her to shut up, 'cause you've had about enough
But she keeps talking, and you might do something you'll regret
At least you'll say you're sorry and pay your dues
Ignorance has always been bliss for her
