Still I wonder

Still I wonder

A Chapter by Timothy G. Britton

How many answers to one question can there be?

What will it take to finally make you see?

Is everybody crazy, or is the just me?

I wonder, still I wonder.

Will my wish come true if I wish upon a star?

Are you still thinking of me no matter where you are?

Where are the answers really found, somebody tell me how far?

I wonder, still I wonder

How deep is the sea, how high the tallest mountain?

Will I find youth, if I drink from the fountain?

In the emptiness of the night, can you hear me shoutin'?

I wonder, still I wonder.

Why does the cold wind blow, why does it have to rain?

Why doesn't it ever wash away the pain?

If I had it to do over again, would I do it all the same?

I wonder, still I wonder.

Will they always find me no matter where I hide?

Will the world ever stop spinning so I can get off this crazy ride?

Is all that really matters, is that I really tried?

Yes, I wonder, still I wonder.

Will they ever realize what they had before it's gone?

Does all the hell we go through, really make us strong?

With so much to do and so much to learn, will I ever get it done?

In this game of life, I wonder, has anybody ever really won?

I wonder, still I wonder.
