My Morning Bird.

My Morning Bird.

A Poem by TimothyHollinghead
"

This poem resembles watching your love wake up. How every little thing becomes significant and you love it all.

"
As the fresh morning dew paints the Earth,
a beautiful bird awakens from its' nest.
It spreads its' wings wide,
as if it were stretching and rubbing its' eyes.
Gently it danced into the air,
singing its' gorgeous song.
The bird rolled and dived,
washing away the worries with the rushing wind.
How beautiful you are majestic morning bird,
I think as the wind pushes it higher and higher.
The world is jealous of this graceful creature,
this beautiful beast that is all mine.
Bugs long for the day they can fly,
and airplanes wish they could dance like it.
Even the trees twist and turn,
just to catch a glance of my beautiful morning bird.

Clever and great imagery and personification, so gracefully written, with lots of pouring of love! Great poem, the lines all fit together, like this is how a jigsaw puzzle became to be. This IS a perfectly fitted jigsaw puzzle! Great, sweet poem, loved it.
