My Last Request

My Last Request

A Poem by My~Beautiful~Despair
"

for loveed ones

"

I lay here on my death bed.
I won't fight a fight I can't win.
Why are you crying?
All lives must end.
Mine now someday yours.
Take my last request.
Hold me in your memory.
Hear my voice; see my face in my favorite melody.
Smile at an old picture of us.
Know that I love you, know that I care.
Don't cry for me, not one tear.
Do that for me.
I promise you I'll…
Watch over you,
Wait for you at the doors of haven,
I'll smile, laugh, sing an angels lullaby for you.
My world fades to black.
You're the last thing I see.
