Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by Jessica Slatton

Through the vents I hear the words
Im the problem.
Im the one who causes stress.
Its all my fault… right?

Well I feel trapped!
Inside four walls
Closing in all around me
I will never be able to escape.

There is no out.
I have no choice.

Raised voices hyped at my senses
Nagging
Bitching
All you want are answers.

Believe me..
You will never find them
Unless you can shut it off
Those judgmental ears
Tune in and just listen

In time I will talk
In time you will know
In time the answers will come
But not now

For I am trapped within.
