Who Do You Think You Are?

Who Do You Think You Are?

A Poem by Noename
"

My dear silence...

"

Who do you think you are?

Because I can tell from afar

You are not the type to hold they lip,

In fact, you love to let it slip.

You care not if another has some say,

For you think you are most important,

Night and day.

You look at yourself as the music of the world,

Convinced we all should remain the ears,

But you have no clue,

            Do you.

We listen not to your words,

We simply stare in awe,

amazed you have some this far

Curious as to what brought you here.

Have you not seen our eyes?

No? How foolish to act in surprise,

You're words never so much as grazed our ears,

Having a hard time facing your fears?

No need to curl in a ball,

Though its quite about time you fell your fall.

We may not hear what you have to say,

But that is only because you made it that way.
