Life

Life

A Poem by Noename

Some call it a punish,
Some a bless.
She calls it neither,
For not one answer is true. Life gives and takes
Some time what's taken is more than what's
Not wanted.
But that would be reality, she says
That is immortality.

And fate stands by life’s side,
And joins in this uneven ride, leading us to the path we
Choose, to decide whether today;
Is a win or a loose.

And that's what is given,

A winning loose.
For each scratch on life’s delicate cover,
Is a tale of strength.
Each day passed through is a defeat with a loose.

We gain from our losses
And gain from our wins, it's just a matter
Of accepting the prize in our naked eyes.
