Blame it on Me

Blame it on Me

A Poem by Noename

Blame it on me,

Or else you will see.

Break my own back,

Or what is not, may become fact.

Jump on the scale,

Or else you will fail.

Tell me false words,

I must hear their truth.

See the soaring birds,

And watch as from them I fall.

Drain the elixir of life,

For poison it holds inside.

Let go of my hand,

Before it ables me to stand.

Turn your back on me,

Before its only reflection I can see.

Blame it on me,

For I have nothing to be.

This leaves many questions within ... me. There is a melodious harmony here.

I really liked this poem and how it flows! I like these two verses..:

"Tell me false words,

I must hear their truth.

See the soaring birds,

And watch as from them I fall.

Drain the elixir of life,

For poison it holds inside."
