The Death of Summer

The Death of Summer

A Poem by Timberwolf32
"

Something short and sweet. It's been awhile, feels good to be back

"

I don't know what happened

but it feels like summer has laid its life down for fall

Hot heatwave laced days are gone now

For the crisp in the air is here and the summer's last hoorah is gracing our skins

In the form of the sun's rays

Though the world grows colder in preparation of the white death,

the oranges and yellows in fallen leaves are comforting
