OctoberA Poem by Tikaani SgaanOctober Temperature dropping The leaves start to change color Gentle breeze rolls in Then the leaves fall down We rake them up and kids jump Laughter fills the air
Pick out your pumpkin Carve a face, make it unique Place a candle in Christmas trees go up IT'S NOT EVEN HALLOWEEN Please don't rush my year This is time for spooks The ghosts and the ghouls come out Are they real or not? The children dress up Knocking on doors for candy They shout "Trick-Or-Treat!" Halloween party Everyone bobs for apples Strange costumes are worn Then the clock strikes 12 No more kids, no more party October is gone November is here FINE! YOU CAN PUT UP THAT TREE! Just stop nagging me! © 2016 Tikaani SgaanFeatured Review
