Invocation of Loki

Invocation of Loki

A Poem by DaVoid
"

An ode and invocation of Loki

"

Ai as Mane Has .... Ash!
Burn to cinders!
Lokis anger against the Trees speaking whispers.
A forest on fire. Lokis mysteries.

Shadows dancing in the flames. Bellydancers burst out.
Music swelling. Drums beating.Heartbeat pumping.

Slowly warms the decade....

Mischief.Stolen Pride from heavens gate.
Roling thunder coming his way.

Brothers or enemies ?
Dance around the campfire today.

Yod He Vav He
Prometheus come forth... carry the olympian flame.

Lucifer, son of the morning.
The will to live and be our own guide in the night.

God's hand stretched out, burning at the fingertips.
Writing messages on the wall.
Prophets dreaming of Arcadia again.

Cherubs standing guard. We separate at heart.
Abel and Kain. Kill or be slain.
Loki is laughing again.

One sacrifice accepted the other thrown away.

Outcast. Pay the price for claiming your independence.
Chained to the rock, crying out loud. Eagle and vulture feast today.

The pain. The pain.

Locked up with dripping poison on my forehead.
Torture! Unable to form a single thought.

Eleleth Shouts! The world awakes.

Lucifer cast in the Dark.

Children lost in the forest.
Darkness and Danger awaits the tender flesh to be ripped apart.

What keeps mankind awake?
There are monsters outside.

Will you stay inside until the light fades out.
Oxygen slowly fleeing away..

Or come out and play! Light a fire. Carry the flame!

Hope colors the day.

I read the poem because I am a fan of Norse gods, I like the mixing up of different World's that you have going on in the poem. The combinations are what I didn't see coming. Keep it up. Cheers.
