The long way home

The long way home

A Poem by DaVoid
"

A path to wisdom.

"
Practice doesn't make perfect sense.
Sensei listen deep learning. yearning for more.
Sitting by masters feet. First seat. Breath deep.
Take in without question. Lay bare without second thoughts.
Naked is the splendour. Sold to the only beggar.
For a coin the kingdom is sold.
The story is ages old.
Fold like a napkin at valentines day.
What do the brothers grim say?
Monsters are coming my way.
Run away and don't look back.
Leave behind your sack.
Worries will follow you anyway.
Run until your legs give out.
Run and cry while still can.
Live and ache.
Give and take.
Regardless of what may be said of you.
They don't know you like I do.
Follow your heart.
You will come home.
