April Fool

So I just saw a news article that school holidays actually start today and will be going on for a fool month, and to celebrate this, there will be free entry to all the Theme parks around Australia and that includes Luna Park and Taronga Zoo.

Trains and buses are also going to be free today (Friday) as all Gov't workers are on strike and they're looking for volunteers to drive the Gov't trains and buses. They're offering an hours worth of training just to learn how to operate them, and if there are no crashes by the end of the day, the volunteers will have guaranteed jobs with the RTA. Only catch is, you need to be a New Australian and fresh off the boat, not quite legal yet, to give fair employment opportunities to all.

For said volunteers, free accommodation will also be offered in the following areas: La Perouse, Manly, Summer Bay, Kings Cross, Paddington, Cabot Cove & the newly built tent city in Canberra which is located on the grounds of the old Parliament House.

Politicians will be stepping down off their podiums for the day and experiencing different aspects of the pauper's life, from a prison cell, to Cumberland hospital, to a person on disability pension who requires a carer who's income has been cancelled.

All homeless people, by comparison, will be rounded up and will be running the Gov't for the day, and the new laws they come up with will take fool effect for the month of April. (Who knows, perhaps they'll do a better job than the originals. It is rumoured if everything goes smoothly, all the original politicians will be arrested, banned from Australia and deported to Cambodia...if the Leaders of that country agree to take them)

And finally, effective from start of work hours - 9am Friday, all internet and media access will be down for 15 hours for mandatory updates, the cost of which funded by the sale of Halal products.

On a completely unrelated matter...

Pinch and a punch for the first of the month

Just to see how many people I could catch out, thought I'd make this as ridiculous as possible.
