Ariel's POV

"And there are your 2015 Jefferson High graduates! Congratulations to the class of 2015! Good luck to you all!" Principle Warner shouted as we all pulled out our Silly String and spray each other with it! We walk out of the gymnasium towards the concourse. One of the girls on yearbook called for a picture of all the graduating seniors.

We all got in close as we smiled, this was defiantly a high point in my life! I've finally graduated high school! "Hey gorgeous." I hear my favorite voice as turn towards it and kiss him. The flash goes off, whoops! " Are you ready to get out of here?" I asked Hector, my boyfriend since my sophomore year. I remember the day I first meet him, we were in sixth grade..

August of sixth grade

"Class please welcome our new student Ariel Johnston!" My new teacher Ms. Hamilton said as all the kids turned around and looked at me. I'm so nervous, I just moved to Iowa, from North Carolina and everything was so different! She nodded to me, I think she wants me to speak up. " Hi my names Ariel, I'm from North Carolina!"

Later on that day after lunch we went out to recess, I had three cousins in my class, Karmin who at one point lived with me, Albert, Al for short who is my nephew, long story! The last one is is Damon, I walked over to Karmin an sat down on a bench as I talked to her, Al walked by with his friend Hector. " Him and Hector have been best friends forever, I don't like Hector!" She exclaimed, " Why?" I asked, she soon replied with " He is a mean guy, trust me don't be friends with him." She said in a very demanding voice.

May 2015

If it wasn't for bowling sophomore year, I don't think I'd be with Hector, it all kind of started out as a joke, Hector wanted to make Al mad, so he started holding my hand, one night after I had just got done cheering at a basketball game and I got a text from a number I didn't know, I thought it was one of the other cheerleaders I just gave my number to, so I just ignored it. The next day Hector had asked me if I liked his text. That issue how it all started.

" Yes my love, please let's get out of here?" He said in a begging voice, he was so cute, I tell him all time! " Let's do something fun?" He grinned. I smile and nodded

So here we are eight hours later, Lying in bed smiling from ear to ear. " I love you Hector!" I smiled. " I love you Ariel!"

July 2015

I was over at Hector's parents house having my favorite dinner with them, enchiladas! I've came over once a week since he has left to eat with them and talk. Every time I walk into this house I get so many memories.

" So how have you been Ariel?" Hector's mom, Anna, asked. " I'm okay, it's just hard everything reminds me of him, and I just miss him tremendously, how about you? How are you doing?" I asked her. " I'm okay! I miss him more than I actually thought I would." She said, I just nodded. " Well I think it's time for me to go home, thanks for having me over! Just call or text me if you need anything, or if you hear from Hector! Good-bye!"

When I got home my mom handed me a letter from Hector, I ripped that thing open and started reading:

My love, 
How are you doing? I miss you so much! Australia is amazing! Yesterday we took a 'field trip' to the Great Barrier Reef! Oh Ariel, I'll have to take you sometime it's for just gorgeous, just like you! Wink wink! I love you so much and being away from you is hard. Sometimes at night when we actually get to sleep I dream of you. Wonderful dreams, and then when I wake up and my stomach hurts. It's really hard to remind myself that this is what I'm meant for, when you are so far away. How's life? School will be started up soon right? That will keep you busy. Please be careful Ariel, it's dangerous and when I come home you are going to be there. Oh how I can't wait for that day! It will be by far the best day of my life. I miss you so much that I get that pit in my stomach. Oh how I would give anything to be in your arms right now, that would be perfect. Well I'm going to try to get some sleep, I love you to the moon and back one million and 5 times! Fair well Ariel!
