Once Had A Thought Of Love

i once believe someone could love me....for me

I once loved

A thought of me loving a man

Who love me

But I soon found out

That couldn’t be

What foolish thoughts my

Mind and heart once had

Now I understand

 

That when someone has a thought about love

Which is so foolish, so juvenile

That it shatters

It doesn’t become….it no longer becomes a thought

It becomes something entirely different

It’s actually a lie once you really look at it

 

See the thought of me loving him

And him loving me

I soon found out that couldn’t be

Because who would love me?

Just for me?

 

See I understand now

I’m foolish, stupid, oh so wonderfully wicked

Who would love me….for that?

No man ever could or would

 

So that can’t be

It’s not the truth

Love is only a fragment

Only a thought

Devised by the souls and minds

Of the one’s unkind
