why am I so confused?

{Mind talking}:

I hate you.

I can’t trust you.

You make me feel sick.

Leave and never come back.

I don’t care no more.

See if I cry over you.

 

Wait. I lied.

 

{Heart talking}:

I love you.

I trust you with all my heart.

I’m sick without you.

Stay. Never go.

I will always care for you.

I’ll cry for you anytime.

Well, I am no poet myself, but this is utterly beautiful. The emphasis on the line 'Wait. I lied.' really defines the contrast between the two. Well done!
