A girl who never and will never forget her beloved friend and the sweet memories they have shared.

My friend

Young, serious, and clever

Full of promise and full of light pushing with all your might.

Never really wanted me around whenever I came running you always frowned.

Although I

never really thought nothing of it, or maybe I didn't get it.

No matter how hard you tried to keep me at bay,

I never

really stayed away.

In defeat you waved your white flag,

Knowing having a 4 yr old around would be a drag.

Time to time I seemed to make you mad,

but when it was said and done I think you were glad

Because we

had a lot of fun.

No tears, no goodbyes

because I’ll always have your skyline in my eyes.

Son, Brother, and friend until the very end.

A piece full of emotion, well done. A few grammatical pointers first, instead of writing "never thought nothing of it" replace nothing with anything. And just think about how you break up each line. Occasionally something is said over two, when it would flow more fluidly in one. Overall, a great poem :)
