Why Won't You Breath?

Blood pumps through my veins. 

Inhale oxygen. 

Breath. Its important. 

Close your precious eyes.

Beautiful blue. 

Depths of the ocean.

Lungs empty, exhale.

Eyes begin to sting. 

Salty tears erupt. 

Glisten down my face. 

So very silent. 

Only sounds of me. 

Breathing deeply slow. 

Why won't you inhale?

Why won't you breath too?

Need to hear your voice.

You used to comfort

Me in time of need.

My fingertips slide 

Across your pale cheek.

You don't move or stir.

You don't squirm or sigh.

Why?

Help me.

Please Help me. 

Help me understand.

Very straight forward, the gravity of the emotion you set was so heavy I had goosebumps while reading it.

A great poem but then again, I wouldn't expect less form such a talented poet like yourself.

Writing is amazing isn't it. No matter what obstacles come your way and despite all the misfortunes it will always remain in our hearts for us to freely express everything we feel. Writing is the best emotional outlet and when it comes from a real emotion, like in this poem, it becomes magic.
