Eternal

Eternal

A Poem by Tiffany

When I pondered, upon my bed
Things so grand, and thought as dead
Wondering, a mystery
Works of old, sweet history
God was said, sagacity’s stand
Immeasurable, like sand
Eternal, golden and grand.

Then I pondered, deep in thought
I looked for truth, so true I sought
The golden light, for me shone
Mortal plans, left all alone
Along the way, newer rife
Sought a bride, His spotless wife
Eternal, this golden life.

Again I pondered, thought true
To the end, for not a few
Could truth be, entwined in both
God tis same, just human growth
In His time, already shed
Tis a truth, truth to be read
Eternal, golden the head.

Such profound wanderings and wonderings that bring alive the eternal aspects of life we so often ignore. Beautifully written and wonderfully inspired. So lifting!
