Dead Love Stars

Dead Love Stars

A Poem by Chip
"

My friend always brought me down, but somehow I did fall in love with him, in my previous poems, I never really included about how he was always bring me down.

"

All the games you played, you would always win.

You knocked me down before I built my foundation.

I was so lost in the dark winter days, cold and afraid.

It took me some time, but now I realise, it was your fault.

My heart crashed with my head when I tried to break away.

Mixing black hate and golden love was a disaster.

You toyed with my vulnerable heart, and it bust.

The pain was immense when it bust.

But I’ve had enough, you’re not winning any more.

You can’t get any closer to break my soul.

The stars of my love for you are dead now.

You can keep everything left behind, because I’ve wasted my time.

Hurt is so painful, sometimes we are too in love to realize that all they want tp do is hurt us, this was fantastic so well expressed...
