Dream

This was a poem I wrote when I was 18, one of my originals.

I wish I knew,

Just what to do.

All I do is lie here,

And dream of you.

 

The way the wind,

Moves through your hair.

Full of nothing,

But shimmer and flare.

 

They way your eyes,

Cause me to grin.

For no matter what I try,

They draw me deep within.

 

Your skin so soft,

Warm and smooth.

Your soul so kind,

And full of truth.

 

If you are a dream,

I hope to never awake.

But if you are not,

You would be well worth the wait.

Anyways, great imagery with this; it really gives me a vivid picture of this dream of yours. lol Excellent flow too! But I sort of expected that because of how small stanzas were. ^^ Great work! :)
