Silk and Leather

Silk and Leather

A Poem by Tatiana Lexia

Paint words across the sky
And let them fade away.
I'll remember them 'till I die;
Every single page.

Tell me all the stories
That you ever did write.
Show me your abilities
And teach me something new.

When you read
You're more beautiful than light;
It is then I know you would never mislead
My my trust in you.

I'm in awe of you,
Of your talents,
And what you can do.
I'm amazed.

Your voice of leather
And mine of silk,
When they come together,
The world will melt.
