Frankenstein Cubist Poem

Frankenstein Cubist Poem

A Poem by Tia Dioszeghy

Darkness, madness, loneliness
those are my three only friends.
If only people could see
beyond my skin.
Why was I cursed
with such an awful burden?

What have I done?
I made life, only to destroy more of it.
Lord, take my breath away from me,
just as my creation did
to the ones I love.
I do not deserve to live.

Monster!  Wretch!  Help!
This is the end, I'm done.
He is coming at me now
and I haven't the will to withstand him.
Tell Victor I love him,
I hope he will live on,
and please warn him of this beast.
