A Day in Your Arms

A Day in Your Arms

A Poem by Thunderlyrics
"

How true love makes time fly...

"

I was astounded to see
How your eyes were calling
Left me no forewarning
As my being filled with longing…
How Monday morning..

Turned into …

Tuesday afternoon
Our love in full bloom
Essence filling the room
As night again fell so soon

Greeted by….

Wednesday mornin’ showers
Raindrops mimic passing hours
As bodies entwined devoured
Hidden petals of exotic flowers..

Courted by..

Thursday’s glorious skies
Yet and still we refuse to rise
Using lethargy as our guise
Single notes played out like a reprise

Ushered in by….

Friday’s provocative allure
Hunger only for the you, I adore
Tempo moderate promising much more
Of time, of love and waves crashing shores

Sleepily beckons…

Saturday afternoon tempest
Wind matching our pace…relentless
Forces of nature has sent this
Nothing but you can quench this

Cruising into….

Sunday’s early morning light
Passions sated all through the night
How a day in your arms
Could feel so right
In your arms...my fear takes flight

I completely get where you are coming from.

"I was astounded to see

Left me no forewarning
As my being filled with longing..."

I love this...it just fills me up.
