Comatose

Comatose

A Poem by thunderstorm

It's dark.

I'm within my own world; unable to see, lurking beneath the shadows. I am now in between life and death. No one can save me from the nightmare I have been living.

I have no ascendancy over my body.

All I have..

(Me, myself, and I.)

My life has became very much like a coma. I'm awake and aware, but have the inability to show any response to others, as I feel the pain and discomfort of entrapment flowing through my veins.

I call out for help. Once again, comatose has won!

The days go by, and I am unable to converse with the one's who have gathered meaning within my own life.

When life is being reffered to a coma, it's brought to your attention that nothing will ever be the same, everyone (including yourself) has given up on hope, and the only one that knows what pain and emotions you're going through are yourself.

(Me, myself and I)

How did I get here? I may never know..

But Comatose has won!

This is an interesting piece. It places me in the scenario.

I'm not good at reviews. Let me reflect another way:

"Movement is static around me as I intently watch the hastily flashing pictures of a frozen life."

Thank you.
Expression is all I know, sometimes a little too much.

I love how you compared yourself to being in a coma, that is really expressive and relatable. I really enjoyed reading this. Different from the usual which is always good!
