The Wraith

The Wraith

A Poem by Joann Conkey
"

About a night phantom!

"

              The Wraith

Twain night ago,

As I lay to slumber,

A gazing out my window....

By the Cedar tree,

Above ground,

Did float he!

With cloak , tatered and torn,

Swiftly he flew,

A ghostly wraith form!

Vanished , into the night,

With blink of eye,

A most unusual sight!

Wonder, will he return?

For what is his plight ?

So wish I, to learn!
