Forever in a MinuteA Poem by JenThis is a minute poem, 60 syllables, 12 lines, a/a/b/b/c/c/d/d/e/e/f/f, 8/4/4/4/8/4/4/4/8/4/4/4
Moonlight shines full and its midnight,
his skin glows white,
and she needs him.
More than a whim,
with each bell toll, it grows, her want
and yet he can’t.
Now, to kill her
to bend and purr,
his teeth break the skin and she moans.
Her life he owns
and she will die.
He never lies.
