He sat backward on his chair and smiled a crooked grin. When he spoke, his sentences were jumbled, but his meaning came across. “Loves you chocolate so much.”
She smiled back in her straight way, showing white teeth. “Yep,” she replied, popping another delicious crunch in her mouth. Sweet but strange, explained both.
“Grasshoppers chocolate not so love much,” he laughed and took one for himself.
She laughed, shaking her head, “Love I do, you.”
