My Inner DebateA Poem by Douglas S. WilliamsHaven't we all had this internal struggle?
My heart’s A’flutter Scores of the forever dream These thoughts you give me
Your “air” fills my heart Mothra batters my stomach With you I am free
We’re Kindred spirits With you there's no masquerade Falsehoods dissipate
You’re a f****n’ nerd! All my quirks you comprehend The love inundates
Yet I am unsure Tumultuous decisions Much uncertainty
I love this woman It’s a blessing and a curse *sigh* most certainly
My god I love her! This fact she’ll not believe true Neither of them will
I have a huge heart Filled with divine affection I’m packed to the gills
Numbers frighten me Because I love her,……and her And her,…….and her too!
Four cosmic deities From their lives I must egress For I cannot choose
I want forever with them all.
