Tears Of A CrocodileA Poem by Douglas S. WilliamsIf you've been bullied then read this.
His reaping has come Tears run down your sun-scarred face The tears come to late
A born again slob Suddenly Immaculate Clues were abundant
He was calling out You say nothing gets past you But this came to pass
Peace and contentment Has replaced the angst and rage This too was a clue
His giuilty pleasures The anime and manga Bequeathed unto me
Bullies harassed him His journey home blurred with tears Now uneventful
Verbal bouts with you Became sweet obedience Nor was that a clue?
He sojourned to school Face.....ominously peaceful His eyes foreshadowed
Sirens were blaring Students and faculty flee Carnage abundant
You taught him quite well Center Mass was no Problem Prey became hunter
Six rounds, six monsters They drowned in their own plasma Their final sounds fade
His life, now forfeit Yet cannot self-terminate Only one option
The said to drop it Weapon already barren They had known this not
So he aims his piece He cannot self-terminate He makes them assist
His goal accomplished Coerced police suicide His body runs silent.
He once enjoyed life It's atrocities scarred him You aided him not
His reaping has come Your sorrows do not ring true They're crocodile tears
