When

When

A Poem by Douglas S. Williams
"

Its a question we all ask at one point.

"

When will I know bliss?
Will it calm my soul like a baby's kiss?
No longer treated with remiss
Is it safe to imagine this?

When can I know trust?
Is it safe to believe what is felt is not lust?
To soar without an armored husk
Not shatter like some whole wheat crust.

When will two become one?
A union symbiotic no one would dare shun
We'd shine like a thousand suns
How can I get that done?

When will I know love?
Will it be everything that I've dreamed of?
We'd fit like a hand in glove
If only I could find my love.

My Eleventh poem. Not the best and some areas I struggled on. It was meant to be an actual song but I changed my mind and made it into a poem

Wow! Thugs that was brilliant!

the flow was awsome and the rhyming was smooth, (pitty you could not continue that in the last stanza) but that has taken nothing from the poem. so glad to see you here!

Blessed be!!
