Web Of Lies

Web Of Lies

A Poem by Crifa

Hanging here from a web,
Waiting for my slimy fate.
Hanging here from a thread,
Knowing help is too late.

Stuck to it like a fly,
You've caught me in your web of lies.
I flap my wings and try to fight,
That savior, one last flight.

But I'm too deep within this silk,
I can't leave your lovely filth.
I bathe in it hour on hour,
Taking your deception like a shower,
Believable thoughts,
Believable actions,
Seem to fool me,
True love's reaction.

I can't leave this web,
I need your lies,
So goodbye to all,
I join the flies.

I love the relations you made here. Great representations and a wonderful idea. Just thinking of being caught up in a web of lies is just overwhelming, but you add even more emotion by saying you enjoy it! Big fan of that twist right there, definitely a highlight in the poem. Nice job, keep it up

Brillient piece. I imidietly cllicked to read it cause i have a poem called Wall of Lies (please read it :) ).

Its really nice how you end the poem

I can't leave this web,
I need your lies,
So goodbye to all,
I join the flies.

The fact that you need need the lies gives it a very nice twist.
