Your Only Regret

Your Only Regret

A Poem by Crifa

Regrets are one of a kind,
Something you hate but cannot replace.
A solid action in time,
Some lost footsteps you can't retrace.
An image set in stone,
You're thoughts just can't condone.
A broken path,
To the change from your past.
You cannot change a regret,
You don't forget that mangy pet,
It stays in your heart through the days,
Until it cannot hold your mind's still gaze.

I want to be your regret,
That little pest inside your head.
Don't you forget about me yet.
For I would rather be remembered as a regret,
Than to be a lost friend you're easy to forget.

this is a really cool poem. I like specifically your ryhming style and the way you have a tendenssy to end each work in the similar sound. Great job!

Hmm, i like this. Good meaning in the last two lines. I like how you brought the meaning on gradually even though it was apparent the whole time. Well done
