The Hand of God

The Hand of God

A Poem by Crifa

A golden hand from heaven above,
Touches you so gently.
It raises you, a touch of love,
As if you're not even lifting.

Shining light pierces skin,
As you slowly open your eyes.
You are relived of every sin,
A ritual of truth, not lies.

Taken back at the forgiveness,
You take a knee and bow.
Your hate and evil was like a sickness,
Why aren't you paying for it now?

Raise your head young angel,
You still have much to learn.
Get up and take your halo,
For this gift you have to earn.

Spread the grace of God,
Doom all of the hate.
The Devil is a fraud,
Hiding behind Hell's gate.

Sail though the clouds,
Take up flight.
Rid us of the dark shroud,
That hides us from the light.

Teach of God's wisdom,
Teach of his heavenly sight.
You can bring back knowledge to this world,
If only you're willing to fight.

Forgiveness. What a great topic. Forgiveness among death? Or at death would be better said. Even though they'd done so many things wrong in their life (so many that it seemed like a sickness), they don't pay for it, but rather get welcomed among the rest of the angels. For even though they've done wrong, they're soul is pure, and they have the ability to soar high above the Devil's trickery and into God's arms.
Great poem, one of your better ones, you better keep up the good work!

I love how you morphed sadness and wisdom together to make a fusion of beauty.
