Change Of SongA Poem by Crifa
God where are you I'm missing your touch;
That merciful ripple of good in my life. God I miss you, your love is my crutch, And I'm finding it hard to put down the knife. Shredding through the me that once was, I cut and tear at a life we once knew. Scared--cornered inside this life because My old innocent personality has gone askew. But this feeling seems to be all but wrong, Although I hate it I still sing this new song, Threading through each note of my rhythmless fate, I can't help but believe this change is anything but fake. Even though I despise change with all of my young heart, I can't help but to see the boy and man break apart.
