Demon Inside

I need to rid these demons,
From my God forsaken heart.
I need to rid these demons,
And split the angel apart.
Why can I fight back?
Why can't I kill these monsters?
I try to defend the attack,
But my inner evil fosters.

Help me please!
Get rid of these!
Give me the strength,
I can't go alone.
I need a companion,
For my hope to hold.

I'm too weak to do it myself,
Might as well give up,
I don't know what to do,
And still the potion brews.
The potion to my doom,
The potion to my fate,
If you can't save me now,
Then chain me to this place.

Leave me to die,
My spirit inside,
I say goodbye,
My one final lie-
Because I know you will save me,
Keep my heart true,
You never gave up on me,
No matter what I put you through.

I thank you at last,
For freeing my soul.
For taking my toll,
And erasing my past.
