Journey of Life

Journey of Life

A Poem by Crifa

He looks to the sun so fearsome, so bright,
At the good he has done, the evil he fights,
Shining above like a ray of pure hope,
He looks at the sun his one holy pope.

Singing to the birds,
Calling for the sky,
A battle no longer,
He's ready to die.

Life's duties fulfilled,
Wrongs set right,
No regrets,
He walks into the light.

A journey so long,
A battle well fought,
He got far along,
Deserved what he got.

A life of glory,
A life of fame,
He won the battle,
God's little game.

Nothing could stop him,
Hard and determined,
He pulled through the heat,
No matter how burdened.

Live life as this man did,
And happiness you'll get.
Hurry grow up, don't be a kid,
Or this will your last lost bet.

What a journey through the journey of life!
This was an enjoyable read and you definitely got your point across, nice advice.
"He won the battle,
God's little game."
That's one of he best lines I've ever read when talking about the perspective of life. To think of it as a battle one and how it really is all just a game in retrospect is just mind blowing
